Yoga is a great way to stretch and strengthen the low-back, improving overall back health. This workshop is not designed to heal low back pain, but rather to find tools to keep the low back healthy. This 2-hour workshop will cover ways to sit, and stand for a healthier back - as well as yoga poses to stretch and strengthen. A handout will be provided with more information, and a list of exercises you can complete daily to help with Low Back Care.
Beginners are welcome to join - no experience with yoga is needed. The poses will be gentle and suited to most. We will be lying on the floor for some of the exercises, we may spend time on hands and knees, standing, and seated too.
