The purpose of this class is to help you reduce stress, and help regulate the nervous system. Research shows: a regular yoga practice helps us reduce cortisol and inflammation in the body, and build resilience that helps us handle acute moments of stress better. My goal is to help you do the work-in, the 'innercise' of the yoga practice - more than the work-out, exercise. You will still feel a physical benefit from this practice of yoga...but my hope is that you might be looking for something more. A virtual class that you can connect to from the comfort of your own home. Beginners are welcome. Poses will be done seated, lying down, on hands and knees, and standing. Moving at a slow-moderate pace, with some longer holds, for reflection and mind-body connection.
