  • 3 DAY LONG CAMP

    Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ●Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ●No flip flops. ●Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ●Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch (lunch only for day camps) ●Treats for the horses if you want ●Helmets are provided. Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up.
  • 3D Printing & CAD

    Printing & Material Fee included. This camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and use the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. This course is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design, imagine, and see their creations come to life. Students will print one key chain during class. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Things to bring to class: Please bring lunch and a drink.
  • 3D Printing: Harry Potter

    Learn 3D design and modeling skills using Tinkercad while creating a wand, then create your own magical pendant. Create fun designs to complete different magical CAD challenges. This course will introduce students to using CAD modeling & design software. They'll also do fun Hogwarts-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. Student-designed pendants will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included. If printing is not completed in class, prints will be mailed home. Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. Bring a bag lunch, beverage and a snack.

  • BMX Community Ed Night

    Rum River BMX is the #1 indoor facility in the country for BMX bike racing. Unlike traditional sports, in BMX, no one sits on the bench! BMX riding is a great way for kids and adults to stay active, build confidence, develop important life skills, connect with others, and have fun. This session will cover BMX fundamentals including "What is BMX racing?" racing bike types, BMX terminology, and BMX safety. Also, the most important lesson, how to RIDE LIKE THE WIND! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novice) who are interested in the sport. If you can pedal your bike without training wheels, you can take part in this class. No special bikes are required, if it has wheels, a few adjustments and we will make it work for this class (your bike will need to have the reflectors, kickstand, chain guard and pegs removed). If you do not have a bike, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available at the track for use on a first come first serve basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required.You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes.
  • F.A.S.T. KIDS – Staying Safe While Home Alone

    First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10-year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class.

Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up.     Turn Minecraft from a game into a visual learning tool! Collaborate to create your own themed adventure maps. This class strongly emphasizes creativity, exploration, and cooperative learning experiences. While immersed in Minecraft's fun and creative world, students will learn about programming and game design concepts. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft.     Multiplayer Minecraft: City Builder

    Minecraft has been a sandbox-building game dominating the world of video gaming for the past several years. Collaborate with fellow students to construct a city! Students will take home their completed world files at the end of class. Beginners and experienced Minecrafters alike will love this action-packed camp!     Survival Camp in Minecraft: Team up & Survive in our multiplayer world.Explore the unknown and join other Survival enthusiasts to overcome challenges, complete quests on our server.   • My Little Horse Camp

    Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.

    Work on a stop-motion animated Pokémon-themed film. Pick your favorite characters to star in your mini-movie. The possibilities are endless! Students will build Pokémon-inspired sets and props to create an animated game and stop-motion short. Students will also participate in other Pokémon-related STEAM activities.     In the Emergency Room you will become a student doctor as you learn about the human body and first aid through plenty of hands on activities. You will participate in mock emergency situations, create a basic first aid kit, and more when you join us in the ER.

    Mind-blowing myths or scientific facts? Join Science Explorers as we confirm or bust strange myths and wacky urban legends. We will ask the crazy questions, develop hypotheses, then we may smash it, crash it or launch it to determine if the myth is confirmed, plausible or busted. Note: M&M's (non-peanut variety) and Pop Rocks may be consumed.

Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ●Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside/outside of the barn. ●No flip flops. ●Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ●Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ●Treats for the horses if you want ●Helmets are provided. There is a “show” for the parents on Fridays of week long camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week.
