Our Recreation Basketball program is part of the Northern Twin Cities Basketball League. This league includes teams from Anoka, Blaine, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, Davinci Academy, Fridley, Spring Lake Park and St. Francis.
This fun yet competitive league introduces the fundamentals of basketball and provides a safe environment for players to improve their game. If there are not enough participants to form a St. Francis team we may combine age groups or co-op with other programs. Participants will be placed on teams, have practices and play games against peer teams.
Games are hosted by the communities in the league with most of our games being played at Anoka, Blaine, and Coon Rapids schools.
Teams will have two to three days of basketball per week consisting of two games and two practices. Practices could be either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with games on Saturdays and Sundays.
Practices/games will start in December and go through March 2nd.
Teams will play approximately 10 to 12 games plus the end-of-year tournament in March.
Registration Deadline is November 25nd. Late Registration will only be accepted for teams with less then 10 players and are subject to a $20 late fee.
