  • 3 DAY LONG CAMP

    Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day. WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ●Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ●No flip flops. ●Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ●Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch (lunch only for day camps) ●Treats for the horses if you want ●Helmets are provided. Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up.
  • Horse Day Camp

    Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Parents are required to drop off and pick up.     Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Please complete the Camp Waiver and General Waiver prior to class

In addition to daily riding, they will learn how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! PLEASE NOTE: Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day.
