St. Francis Youth Football is part of the TCNFL league for 7-8th grade and NSFL for 2-6th grade.
This is a competitive league that plays other communities with 2nd-8th grade tackle football teams.
2nd-6th grade coaches are instructed to always be working towards equal playing time.
7th-8th grade coaches are instructed that playing time is based on ability. There is no guarantee for equal playing time.
Registration deadline is July 14th.
Jerseys will be ordered on July 15th and jersey numbers will be determined by the order of registration.
League games begin September 6th
Games will be played mainly on the weekends and a few weeknights throughout the year.
The season game schedule and jerseys will arrive approximately the week before games start.
Equipment Hand-Out and Player Evaluations will be the week of August 4th at the St. Francis Middle School fields. Time - TBD
(We will not hand out equipment if the player is not present)
Equipment provided: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, and Pants that you will return at the completion of the season.
Players receive a game jersey, socks and a mouth guard that is theirs to keep. Players are responsible for their own cleats.
Team drafts will be held after Player Evaluations to determine each grade level rosters.
Team practices will start the week of August 11th. There are no specific days or times set up for each grade level. Coaches will communicate with their team on times and field locations.
Before the league season begins coaches are allowed to have up to 4 days of practices per week. Once the season games starts coaches are allowed 2 practices a week.
