    Survival Camp in Minecraft: Team up & Survive in our multiplayer world.Explore the unknown and join other Survival enthusiasts to overcome challenges, complete quests on our server.     Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet several different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15-minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena.

  • North Metro Track & Field League

    North Metro Track League The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity to expose elementary-age students to some track and field events along with giving them the opportunity to compete against athletes from other communities. We will cover the fundamentals of Track and Field through the training and practicing of that week's meet events. St. Francis High School varsity track and field coaches and athletes will be the instructors for this program. The kids will have two days of practice and one track meet each week.   • Nutrition for Optimal Fitness

    Learn nutrition principles as they relate to recreational athletic performance and what your nutrition and hydration needs are for various levels of physical activity. We will discuss the impact of nutrient composition for pre and post workout snacks with recipes and menu ideas provided.
  • Pebbles/Stepping Stones

    Designed to transition your child from Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) into preschool. During fall semester, child and caregiver attend Pebbles class together. There is time for child and adult to be together; time for adult interaction along with a parent educator in another room; and time for child to work with their peers, and an Early Childhood Teacher, learning new skills. During the spring semester, the child will attend Stepping Stones independently. Staff do not change diapers, but are ready to assist children in their independent management of their toileting. Sibling care is offered during the fall semester for a fee. If unable to pay the spring/Stepping Stones fee in full, please call the ECFC office at 763-753-7170 for payment options.

  • Pokémania STEAM Adventure

    Work on a stop-motion animated Pokémon-themed film. Pick your favorite characters to star in your mini-movie. The possibilities are endless! Students will build Pokémon-inspired sets and props to create an animated game and stop-motion short. Students will also participate in other Pokémon-related STEAM activities.     A time for preschoolers (as of 9/1/24) and parents to get a taste of Preschool Place 15. Play a bit, experience typical classroom activities, talk to teachers and learn about the curriculum.     A man of many talents, Tom Strohmyer, known professionally as “Woody,” has been entertaining audiences, ages one to one hundred, since 1983 playing guitar, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, flute and singing in various bands and as a solo performer. A Lunch Bunch favorite, Woody is a one-man variety show, offering a wide assortment of music styles delivered in different ways, both instrumentally and vocally. Join Tess as she walks you through the process of creating two types of spring rolls bursting with a SYMPHONY of flavors bold and bright enough to wake up any and all taste buds. Choice of meat (chicken or pork) & veggies will fill the CRISPY spring rolls, and fresh veggie and precooked protein of choice will fill the FRESH spring rolls. Two types of wrappers will be used. Participants will be able to customize filling ingredients and seasonings according to their taste or dietary preferences. Join in the fun as we dive into the world of spring rolls learning the techniques to create fillings, and how to wrap, roll, and cook these delightful packets of bright deliciousness! Freezing and reheating tips will also be shared! Come join the FUN! Make it a date night or family night as you create lasting memories in your kitchen! Have your questions answered by the instructor, interact with other participants as you cook along, and increase your confidence in the kitchen. While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. A professionally made PDF packet of the Instructors Personal Recipes from this class will also be received. This class will take place on Zoom; free online software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. As an added bonus, the instructor has created a private group and a public group on Facebook for participants of her cooking classes. Everyone will receive an invite to the groups although joining is optional. Come join the fun! Note: One registration fee for this on-line virtual interactive class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home ONLY. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.
  • St. Francis Dance Camp, Grades - 7th-12th

    Dance camps are for athletes who make the St. Francis Winter Dance Team. Camps will consist of technique of skills in jazz and high kick, choreography combinations, and team building.
  • Summer Karate

    Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. If they prefer, children have time to change after school.Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor. It is the responsibility of the parent to transport children from East Bethel Elementary School, St. Francis Elementary School, or other locations to class.

    Summer Strength & Conditioning (Grades 6-12)

    Please note there is no class on June 3rd and June 19th Athletes will be participating in a wide-range of exercises and activities, through body weight workouts. All HS athletes will be following a specifically designed and regimented program and MS athletes will be following a similar but modified program.
  • Tackle Football Grades 2-8

    If you are interested in coaching please fill out the Online Coaches Application St. Francis Youth Football is part of the TCNFL league for 7-8th grade and NSFL for 2-6th grade. This is a competitive league that plays other communities with 2nd-8th grade tackle football teams. 2nd-6th grade coaches are instructed to always be working towards equal playing time. 7th-8th grade coaches are instructed that playing time is based on ability. There is no guarantee for equal playing time. Registration deadline is July 7th. Equipment Hand-Out and Player Evaluations will be on August 6th-8th at the St. Francis Middle School fields. Time - 5pm-7pm (We will not hand out equipment if the player is not present) Equipment provided: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, and Pants that you will return at the completion of the season. Players receive a game jersey, socks and a mouth guard that is theirs to keep. Players are responsible for their own cleats. Team drafts will be held after Player Evaluations to determine grade level rosters. Team practices will start the week of August 12th. There are no specific days or times set up for each grade level. Coaches will communicate with their team on times and locations. Before the league season begins coaches are allowed to have up to 4 days of practices per week. Once the season starts coaches are allowed 3 days a week, including the game. League games will begin September 7th. Last thing. Make sure to tell your friends so they don't miss the deadline.
