  • Field Trips (Early Childhood)

    Field Trips are events for children and parents. You will find something for everyone in your young family-babies, preschoolers, moms and dads! Register early as some events fill fast. You can register online, by mail or drop off your registration at the Early Childhood Family Center. No refund on fees after the deadline date.

    B.L.A.S.T. - Babysitting 101: Emergency Outfitters This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe and game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit. F.A.S.T. KIDS – Staying Safe While Home Alone First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10 year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class. RC Car Racing This course is for intermediate level drivers, teens, and adults who want time on the track to drive RC Cars. Participants can use the RC Cars provided or bring their own RC Cars on approval. Introduction to RC Racing Interested in RC Cars? Want to try racing them on a track? Come join us as we explore what makes them work and try them out. Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills with a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use our RC Cars or use your own on approval.

    Whether you want to ride for enjoyment or relaxation. You want to learn a new skill or train for a show. Or, if you just want to get away from the city and enjoy some time outdoors. Riding is for anyone who loves horses! All Horse Camps are held at Boulder Pointe Equestrian & Events Center WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ●Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ●Sunscreen/hat ●Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch (lunch only for day camps) ●Treats for the horses if you want Please complete the Camp Waiver and General Waiver prior to class

    KARATE Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. BEE the CHANGE CHOIR Sing, dance and make a positive difference with other students grades 3-5 and all while enjoying the “Show Choir” experience! “Bee the Change Choir” started in 2023 and has been blazing a trail to spread the message that kids can make a difference in our schools...and world.

    About Lunch Bunch Enjoy top entertainment by popular local artists at the monthly Lunch Bunch shows. Make sure to register early, most shows will sell out! Lunch Bunch is located at The Bridge Church in Nowthen, MN. For reservations call 763-213-1640 or register online. Cancellations for individual registrations received at least two weeks prior to the showdate will be refunded less a $5 processing fee; cancellations less than two weeks before are non refundable.

  • Tackle Football

    2025 Registration Opens May 1st If you are interested in coaching please fill out the Online Coaches Application Saints Youth Tackle Football is for players in grades 2-8 (your child's grade starting in the Fall 2025) and is organized by the Community Education Department. The league participates in the northwest metro area. Schedules are controlled by the league, not the Rec Department. Team practices will be set by the coaches with at least two practices a week. Teams are selected by a draft and no team requests will be honored.

    Tech Academy of Minnesota Research-proven technology and summer STEM day camps for kids and teens ages 4-15. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. We host over 300 camps annually throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. We offer 30 different classes/camps in Minecraft, Video Game Design, Programming, Engineering, Robotics, Computers and Film Making. 2024-2025 school year Tech Academy courses are VIRTUAL. Summer In Person courses are now available!

    Young Rembrandts offers art classes for kids. Our classes are built to be fun, but children who participate in local Young Rembrandts drawing classes increase academic skills, fine motor skills, social skills, hand and eye coordination and confidence.
